I received my B.S. in Biology and Genetics from UW-Madison in 2009.  During my time there, I worked with Sara Patterson to study genes regulating cellular abscission in Arabidopsis.  I joined the Arnold lab and Gilbertson Herbarium at the University of Arizona in 2011, and participated in the 2011 and 2012 field expeditions to Canada and Sweden. I begain my MS work in August 2012 with mentorship from Betsy Arnold and Dave Baltrus, and am currently focusing on the genomics and phenotypic effects of endohyphal bacteria.
